AEI Capital Corporation creates, distributes and manages multiple investment programs that are sold through independent investment brokerage firms across the country. With a successful 48-year track, AEI is seeking an experienced National Business Development Director to bring an informed and entrepreneurial spirit to our marketing and sales activities. The professional in this position will be responsible for creating and managing the initiatives necessary to take our investment program sales to the next level. National Business Development Director

Working with senior management, you will be responsible for achieving our national sales objectives, from strategy through implementation. You will identify, create and execute marketing and sales campaigns, and their advertising plans, for individual selling group broker-dealers, including co-branded initiatives. While you will manage a sales and advertising team of seven experienced internal and external wholesalers and graphic arts specialists, your primary focus will be on building broker-dealer selling groups.

Qualified candidates must have a degree in business, advertising or marketing with at least seven years of experience of sales development in the financial products industry.

You should be able to demonstrate that you have:

  • In-depth industry experience at all financial product distribution levels immediately below Wall Street.
  • Experience in understanding market intelligence and applying it to sales strategy.
  • An ability to enhance the efforts of financial wholesale teams.
  • Skill to create advertising & sales campaigns that can be effective at both the broker-dealer corporate level, as well as the individual advisor level.
